Jackson, Mississippi — June 30, 2016 — Global company Parker Hannifin has expanded operations, creating 12 new jobs at its location in Holly Springs, Mississippi.

“Parker Hannifin’s expansion in Holly Springs speaks volumes about the supportive business climate and skilled workforce the company relies on in Marshall County and its other Mississippi locations,” Governor Phil Bryant said.

A $685,000 corporate investment, Parker Hannifin’s expansion is the result of production moving to the Holly Springs facility from South Carolina. The additional jobs bring employment at the facility to 124.

Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance for equipment relocation.

“When Mississippi’s existing companies expand creating new career opportunities, it shows the world Mississippi is a great place for business,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough, Jr. “We salute our teammates at the Marshall County Industrial Development Authority, the Marshall County Board of Supervisors and city of Holly Springs who, together with MDA, helped attract these new career opportunities to the people of Marshall County.”

Parker Hannifin also has operations in Batesville, Olive Branch and Madison, Miss. The company employs 516 workers throughout its four Mississippi locations.
