Jackson, Mississippi — November 2, 2017 — Governor Phil Bryant presented awards to six Mississippi companies at the 2017 Governor’s Awards for Excellence in Exporting event held at the Old Capitol Inn.
“Congratulations to these companies for their achievements in international trade. Their success and the latest round of STEP funding enhance Mississippi’s overall export operations,” Governor Phil Bryant said.
The STEP program allows MDA to provide financial and technical assistance to small- and medium-sized Mississippi companies interested in growing their business through trade. Administered by MDA’s International Trade Office, the funding can be used to assist Mississippi businesses such as those present at this year’s award ceremony.
