Model Contractor Development Program Activities

The Model Contractor Development Program is designed to teach small construction contractors the good business practices they need to improve their company’s operations, increase their bonding capacity and help them take advantage of the ongoing construction boom in Mississippi. The program developed by The Surety & Fidelity Association of America consists of two components:

• an educational component that includes modules on various key topics in the construction industry
• a technical assistance component that includes one-on-one assessments by professionals in the surety industry.
