International Representatives
MDA maintains a network of regional international offices or representatives whose mission is to support the state's international marketing efforts and enhance the work of both the trade and investment recruitment programs. Representatives are located in Santiago, Chile; London, England; Yokohama, Japan; Shanghai, China; Dortmund, Germany. The primary objectives of the international offices include:
- Promote Mississippi as an investment location.
- Promote Mississippi products and services for export.
- Provide assistance to local companies seeking new or expanding export opportunities.
- Research and monitor commercial activity abroad.
- Serve as liaison to foreign governments and associations on behalf of MDA.
- Provide assistance to local economic development officials.
