Mississippi exported more than $12.4 billion worth of products in 2013. Mississippi-made products span the range of manufactured goods, including machinery, chemicals, food products, wood products and electronics. Industrial, commercial, and consumer goods are all produced in Mississippi and are shipped through the state's infrastructure of highways, railways and ports. While Mississippi traditionally trades with countries such as Panama, Canada, Mexico, China, the United Kingdom, Japan and Belgium, there have been great strides made in opening trading relations with growing markets such as Brazil, Guatemala, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and others. Mississippi regularly ships its products to well over 100 countries around the world.
