HOME Program CHDO funds must be invested in housing that is owned, developed or sponsored by a CHDO including new construction of multi-family rental units or homebuyer assistance. All homebuyer assistance requirements will apply to CHDOs. The maximum and minimum grant sizes for CHDO projects are $750,000 and $250,000, respectively, for New Construction. The maximum and minimum grant sizes for CHDO projects are $250,000 and $100,000, respectively, for Homebuyer Assistance.
