The goal of these regional offices is to provide support of all MDA programs and services to local communities, businesses and economic developers. The regional office's programmatic activities are coordinated with and in support of the local economic development organizations, main street programs and chambers of commerce.
Priority One Visitation Program:
The seven regional offices' staff members are responsible for facilitating the implementation of the state-wide visitation program within their respective service territories. The regional offices also work closely with the MDA retention and expansion team to market the state's resources for manufacturers and businesses. LocationOne Information System Program Facilitation:
The regional offices' staff members provide support with the implementation and maintenance of the LocationOne Information System (LOIS) Program within their respective service territories. LOIS is the state-of-the-art online site selection application program used by MDA since early 2007. Select LocationOne Information System to learn more about this service.
