The same creative energy that guides our artists, writers and musicians also inspires our innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs.
The Energy and Natural Resources Division formed a partnership with Mississippi State University’s Micro-Cooling, Heating, and Power (CHP) Application Center and North Carolina State University’s NC+CHP Initiative, to develop and support the formation of the CHPCenterSE. Working with other members of the current Southeastern CHP Initiative, the center hopes to double the 1998 levels of CHP installed capacity by the year 2010. The center coordinates and conducts education and outreach activities to stimulate market development as guided by a CHPCenterSE Roadmap.
