Long Term Workforce Housing – Round 2 Application
The Disaster Recovery Division of the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is pleased to announce the receipt of seventy four (74) applications on June 9, 2008 to provide Long term Workforce Housing in Round 2 of our program. This program will provide funding for workforce and affordable for sale and rental housing by offering loans and grants for real estate projects that develop new or rehabilitated affordable and mixed income housing located in Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, and Pearl River Counties.
Submitted applications are currently in the scoring phase of the application process. Applicants are being scored according to the “Selection Criteria and Associated Points” found in the Application Guidebook. After all applications have been properly scored, the applicant will be notified and informed of the status of their application. Applicants that are being considered for CDBG funding at the conclusion of the scoring phase may be called in for an oral presentation. Any updates to the progress of the application process will be posted to the website.
Round 3 information and details will be announced in the near future.
MDA would like to thank all of the participants of the program in the interest of providing much needed workforce and affordable housing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
