Tax Credit Gap Funding Plan
MDA intends to implement a Program to provide up to $30 million in CDBG funding to certain owners of affordable housing projects. The Funds are intended to provide an additional source of gap financing for projects receiving affordable housing tax credits from Mississippi Home Corporation, as a result of market-wide repricing of Credits since allocation by MHC. As described in the action plan, the Funds will only be made available to eligible Borrowers in the form of loans from MDA. Grants will not be available under the Program. The action plan is available for public comment through September 12, 2008 at 5pm Central. For additional information select
