Mississippi exported more than $5.18 billion of products in 2007. Mississippi-made products span the range of manufactured goods, including machinery, chemicals, food products, wood products, and electronics; industrial, commercial, and consumer goods are all produced in Mississippi and are shipped through the state's infrastructure of highways, railways, and ports. While Mississippi traditionally trades with countries such as Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Japan and Belgium, there have been great strides made in opening trading relations with growing markets such as Brazil, Guatemala, China, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and others. Mississippi regularly ships its products to well over 100 different countries around the world.
